Born and raised in rural Manitoba, Jodie Byram was elected as the MLA for Agassiz in 2023.

Jodie is grassroots and loves living life in Agassiz. From spending her early years growing up on a farm, to raising her children, she has learned the values of hard work, dedication, and commitment. Through nine years of work experience as a Constituency Assistant, Jodie has gained extensive knowledge and understanding of the workings of provincial government.

She enjoys attending community events, meeting new people, and values her time spent with family and friends.

Jodie knows the people, the area, the issues, and the diverse needs in Agassiz, and has been engaged with local and regional meetings to better understand ever community. She is passionate and committed to the wellbeing and future of Manitoba and the cultural diversity within the constituency and province.

Jodie is compassionate, understanding, and a good listener. She knows the importance of having a strong voice for rural Manitoba, and Jodie is that voice for Agassiz. She is a team player and will go above and beyond to get the job done.
