Statement from PC Finance Critic Obby Khan on the NDP’s So-Called Financial Review
WINNIPEG — Obby Khan, PC Shadow Minister for Finance, released a statement today in response to the NDP’s so-called Post Election Financial Accountability Review:
“The NDP are trying to change the channel from the 228 million litres of raw sewage being poured into Lake Winnipeg and their interference with Manitoba Hydro. As the review’s disclaimer makes clear, this is a political document with unaudited figures and incomplete information. The NDP neglected to mention that they are in charge for HALF of this budget’s fiscal year.
“PCs acted to make life more affordable for Manitoba families, invest in schools and highways, and address health staff shortages. The NDP are failing to act on these priorities. Instead, they’re playing partisan games in an attempt to distract from their broken promises, while desperately looking for someone else to blame.”
