Statement from Agriculture Critic Jeff Bereza on Passing of Bill Campbell
PORTAGE LA PRAIRIE — Portage la Prairie MLA Jeff Bereza, PC Critic for Agriculture, released the following statement today on the passing of Bill Campbell, former president of the Keystone Agricultural Producers:
“Bill Campbell was a true champion for farmers and a strong advocate for Manitoba’s agriculture industry. Whether working his own land doing what he loved, or leading the Keystone Agricultural Producers, Bill’s commitment to the success of Manitoba farmers left an unforgettable mark on everyone who had the privilege of meeting him.
“My deepest condolences go out to Bill’s family, friends, KAP, and the entire Manitoba farming community. To help honour Bill’s legacy, I encourage Manitobans to support the ALS Society of Manitoba in their efforts to find a cure for this terrible disease.”
