New PC Caucus Chair Announced
Winnipeg, MB – The Manitoba PC Caucus is excited to announce that Midland MLA Blaine Pedersen will
become the new Chair for the Manitoba PC Caucus following Riding Mountain MLA Greg Nesbitt’s
appointment to cabinet.
“I am honoured to start this new role and continue working hard for Manitobans on behalf of our entire PC Caucus,” said Pedersen. “I know that my colleagues and I are united in our goal to strengthen health
care, make life more affordable and bolster the economy.”
Pedersen has extensive experience in government and the upper bench. First elected in 2007, he has
been a strong voice for Manitoba’s PC Caucus for many years. He has served in cabinet in the portfolios
of Minister of Infrastructure, Minister of Growth, Investment and Trade and Minister of Agriculture and
Resource Development.
The entire PC Caucus congratulates MLA Pedersen on this appointment, and congratulates Minister
Nesbitt on his appointment to cabinet.
